Due the nature of the fabric, which is really delicate, there are a few pulls in the fabric. Some where there when I bought it (as a sample), a couple of threads are since I wore the garment on the big day. There is no fraying on the hem. The underlayer has some stains at the bottom, but there are no stains on the external fabric. The dress was brought in at the bodice, so it's on the smaller side of an 8.
